My name is Anna Chapman and I am a Psychotherapist and Counsellor; I use the term Therapeutic Counsellor to describe my work.
I can help you understand why you might be feeling the way you do, and what – if anything – needs to change in your life for it to be better for you. Over time, exploring and understanding these things can bring acceptance, peace, contentment and ultimately, help you experience joy in the life you choose to live.
My practice is grounded in connectivity – our human connectedness. Our thoughts are connected to our feelings (or, our head to our heart if you prefer); our minds to our bodies; us to one another (to family, to friends, to colleagues); our present to our past and future (particularly when it comes to relationships); and ourselves to the community and the world we live in.
If any of these connections have been damaged, life can become unsatisfying, difficult, painful or traumatic. Understanding your own connected system and how it makes you feel can be the first step to finding that acceptance and peace, experiencing contentment and discovering joy. I can help you with this.
